I have made a selection of dresses from the contemporary designer section at Arnotts.
I am showing you how I would style those dresses to events for the summer.
As a personal stylist who is focused on owning a more sustainable wardrobe, I have picked dresses that I believe you will be able to be dress up or down.
The contemporary designers selection is very good in Arnotts, they have bold, colourful choices that are fun to wear, well cut and flattering.
This dress from Essential Antwerp will see you make a real entrance. It is quite long, I am 5"6 and I would need to wear some heels with it, but 2 inches would be enough.
This is a beautiful dress, a real statement, the fabric ic like a light jackard with gold thread.
I would rewear this dress to a party on holidays with wedges and a relaxed denim jacket.
This tweed dress from Sister Jane features a gorgeous flower embellishment and a cut out on the sides.
It is a very beautifully made dress, it feels like a luxury item and is very unique. The inspiration is obviously from Chanel, from the cut, to the tweed fabric and the camellia like flowers.
I think this dress could be worn with a delicate kitten heel for a more obvious look or with a colourful braided sandal for a more modern look.
To dress down, it could be worn with a leather jacket and flat ankle boots, tough biker boots would work well, with bare legs.
I think this could suit a bride who is looking for a less formal wedding dress, maybe for a town hall wedding.
This cotton dress and lacey dress from Stella Nova comes in this beautiful orange, it is very deep and will flatter any skintone.
If you pair this dress with embellished mules it will look very chic at an event. It would also be a great bump friendly piece for an event.
This would look great with sneakers and a denim jacket to wear every day.
Ganni is such a wonderful brand, they really design practically for women with a normal life and they make clothes that are easy to mix and match and to rewear. This small leopard print dress is very versatile. I think the frill around the shoulders makes it dressy, with a strappy high heeled sandal and a clutch, it would be perfect for an event.
It could also be worn with a white Stan Smith runner from Adidas and a military jacket.
This dress from Never Fully Dressed is really fun with it's two prints and flamenco inspired sleeves.
I think it would be great for a wedding, paired with braided sandals.
I would wear it with flat sandals to a more casual event.
