Weekly outfit inspiration for summer

Look 1

I have picked this poplin short sleeve shirt from APC, which is light and has little capped sleeves that won’t keep you too warm. Because we can’t wear dresses all summer long, and some of us need to wear a trousers at work at times, I have paired it with those gorgeous, light trousers from Shon Mott, which are breezy and look very stylish on.

Those little kitten heels from Anonymous Copenhagen are open but still look dressy enough to be worn in a corporate setting.

This Soeur bag is versatile, with a unique shape, it can be worn either with a more dressy chain or a thick fabric strap.

Look 2

This look is about being practical yet elegant, with a cotton jumpsuit from Cos featuring a detailing on the back, with a back (still allowing you to wear a bra underneath). I have paired this fun orange jumpsuit with those chunky sandales from Jonak and a simple basket from the market.

Look 3

This look is quite a classic in Paris and very timeless. I like a flowy simple black dress, I find black much easier for city life and like it in the summer. This dress comes from Loft Design by, a Parisian brand which focuses on great quality fabrics, I have paired it with a light overshirt from the same brand, their summer cotton is very light and nice to wear.

The bag is from a brand I love : Call it by your Name, this is a real in the know Parisian brand started by its founder during COVID, during which she assembled pieces out of pieces of bandana, now it is one of the coolest bags around.

The sandals are from Balzac, their shoes are very comfortable and always have a cool edge to them.

Look 4

Another outfit with some light, easy to wear trousers. These are from Loft Design by, in the easiest to wear cotton, they also fit very well. I have paired it with this knitted top from Soeur which will look more pulled together than a tshirt. For an added note of cool, I have paired this look with Nike Air Rift which look great worn barefeet.

I like the basket style of the Polene Cyme bag for something different.

Look 5

This is a look we see a lot currently in Paris, the bermuda shorts. I love this pair from Uniqlo which comes from their Airism range and keeps you cool in the heat. I have paired it with those gorgeous shoes from Nicki Hoyne, I really like pairing more dressy shoes with a bermuda short for a chic look.

This has been paired with a cotton shirt from Le Grand Comptoir, one of my favourite shops in Paris. To make it a bit cool and keep you protected from the sun, I have added a baseball cap from French brand Hello Hossy and a large tote bag from Merci, another brilliant concept store in Paris.
