Effortless Autumn Style: 6 Chic Layered Looks for the Cooler Season
Styling for the Autumn as we slowly head in the colder season can be tricky. Often, the mornings and evenings are chilly but the middle of the day still be warm. The best way to deal with it is to layer up and carry a bag with you in which you can simply tuck away your layers. I like wearing a top I know I will be happy to wear on its own once I take the jumper off.

This look is a great way to instantly elevate your style. As the temperatures drop, many people go straight for darker colours but wearing ecru and tan colours looks really good in Autumn. The best way to style this look is to use a variety of the same shade. Like ecru, beige, camel, tan. It instantly looks pulled together and elegant. Colour analysis shows us that the brighter shades closer to the face will lighten up your face.

I am a big fan of bright knit in the winter, as I believe they lift up your mood. A bright jumper will also help brighten your face when we are all looking a little paler in the winter months. They look great paired with a relaxed pair of dark denim and either sneakers or boots. I find I rotate my bright knits paired with denim or a midi woollen skirt and boots when I don’t want to make a decision in the middle of winter.

I like a sleeveless denim jacket, I see them a little bit in the street in Paris this time of the year and I think they are a fun way to relax a dress.
Look 4

I like that oversized striped blue shirt with the brown trousers and simple trainers. The whole looks is made quite fun with the cashmere thrown over the shoulders. Another way to have the warmth of a sweater without compromising on not showing the shirt would be to wear a loose sweater gilet.
Look 5

Love this look, as someone who gets very cold in the winter, I am a big fan of the sherpa gilet over a sweater, or a sweatshirt at this time of year. Those cropped jeans also look great, I would personally choose clogs over sandals but this is a very nice, relaxe look. I like the balance of the oversized top with a slimmer lag shape, I think it can be a little more elegant in some cases.

I love styling a silk bias skirt, this one looks great with the kitten heels. Fabric contrast is a great way to lift up your outfit, silk and smooth wool work well together as an elegant combination. The little clutch adds a chic touch to the outfit, and can bring it from day to night.
